The Founder

Suvajit Basu is a technology executive, entrepreneur, and the sole principal of AIRONCLAD. He brings 30 years of experience spanning enterprise CIO leadership, omnichannel and Amazon strategy, company founding and exit, and active advisory to technology companies and growth-stage businesses.
He spent more than 15 years at Goya Foods — one of the largest Hispanic-owned food companies in the United States, with revenues exceeding $2B — serving as CIO and senior technology executive. He was accountable for the entire technology organization: enterprise systems, supply chain technology, pricing infrastructure, digital commerce, Amazon and omnichannel strategy, and IT operations across the business.
He is also a company founder and operator. He built Metro Technologies — an enterprise media technology firm — from zero, serving major clients including MSNBC, Fox News, ESPN, Oxygen, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks. He subsequently built and exited the company, providing direct experience with the full arc of founding, scaling, and transitioning a technology business.
Through AIRONCLAD, he is currently advising a tier-1 VC-backed AI company and CPG brands including a multi-million-dollar organic beauty brand and a food and beverage company — all with hands-on operating involvement, not just strategic recommendations.
